Fees & Cancellations

The fee for a standard 50min consultation from 1 July 2025 is $260, but can vary depending on funding stream.

A limited number of reduced fee slots for regular clients who are experiencing significant financial hardship are available.

In some circumstances (e.g. trauma treatment), extended 75min or 90min sessions may be offered where time allows, and in order to facilitate the best therapeutic outcome. Extended sessions are charged at a pro rata rate of $325 for 75min or $390 for 90min.

Medicare funding: Clients referred under a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session (from 1 July 2025), for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Contact your GP to discuss if you are eligible for a MHTP.

NDIS Funding: self-managed and plan-managed participants accepted. (NOTE: we are currently at capacity for plan-managed participants.)

Private Health: Clients with Private Health insurance may be eligible for a rebate if not being seen under a MHTP. Contact your health fund to find out more.

Regular and one-off supervision sessions are available during business hours.

Supervision fees depend on the supervisee's registration stage and supervision needs. Discounted rates are available for provisional psychologists and registrars booking in for regular supervision sessions.

Each session you book is a whole hour reserved in the diary just for you. If you can’t attend, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible so the appointment can be offered to someone else in need. In order to avoid a late cancellation fee a minimum of 1 business day's notice is required (e.g., Monday morning appointments need to be cancelled by the previous Friday morning).

If you are unwell we encourage you to take the option of swapping to a telehealth appointment instead of attending in person – this can be done by contacting us at any time in the lead up to your appointment.

If you are late to an appointment, your session will need to still finish at the scheduled time and may be less than 50 minutes in duration. In this instance, the full fee will still apply.

Late cancellations are charged at 50% of the appointment fee. Missed appointments or same-day cancellations are charged at 100% of the appointment fee.

Cancellation fees may sometimes be waived at the psychologist’s discretion in the event of extenuating emergency circumstances, or serious illness (NB. this excludes work commitments and repeated late cancellations for illness).
